Bonduel Boys basketball has been a successful program for a long time. One of the first coaches of the program was John Reinke. John led Bonduel to a conference championship in 1971.
Dave Hedtke replaced John's head coaching duties in 1983. He coached from 1983-84 to the 2000-01 season. Hedtke led Bonduel Basketball to four conference championships in 1991, 1993, 1996, and 1997.
The coach replacing Hedtke was Jerry Reinke, who coached from 2001-02 to the 2012-13 season. In Jerry's time as basketball coach, he led the team to one sectional appearance and one conference championship. Jerry led Bonduel to a conference championship in the 2011-12 season.
Duke Copp replaced Reinke during the 2012-13 school year. Along with coaching, he currently teaches at Bonduel High School in the business education department. In Duke's first season at Bonduel, the Bears were 13-15. Duke led the Bears to a victory over Menominee Indian during the postseason in the first round. Bonduel's 2013-14 season came to an end at Auburndale in round two of the playoffs.
